Has a great sheen and texture. Feels and looks like something you'd find in an expensive library and the hue is on point for a brand like West Elm or Pottery Barn. They have a subtle shiny quality that's not bad or good- just thought I would share that in case you're looking for more of a matte texture. I will order more in a few more colors.These are the prettiest color of green and have a very nice tactile feel but be really careful with washing. They pill/pull around the stitching so hang or air tumble dry. The good thing is that they’re so inexpensive I just got a second set to put out for guests.Pros- inexpensive, really soft, good color. I bought gold & it's a nice rich color- not too yellowy. Zipper is pretty & the seams look strong.Cons- this is a pretty huge complaint- I have washed & soaked the cover in water for 4 hours & the creases from being folded in a package will not come out. I have other covers in similar fabric & this was not a problem. I will update if they disappear after a week of use but this will prevent me from purchasing this again.it is exactly the type of velvet I anticipated, fit perfectly over my old pillow and it now the centerpiece of the bed with all my pins on it for show.I wanted to change up some Euro pillow shams on my bed. Thought velvet sounded a bit over the top...but they look really good. It's nice to have a few different pillow textures for a layered white look. Super fast service - ordered one evening and they were delivered the next day.These ripped the first time I tried putting them on the pillow (I used the correct size). They are also way more yellow than I thought they would be, I was hoping for a more pearl colour, but they have a greenish yellow tint. Giving two starts for the good texture and heavy material. They would probably be better in a different colour.Extremely happy and very surprised! The quality is amazing for the price. The pillow is massive and well made. Zipper is pretty much undetectable.Super nice high end bigger then i thought but thats on me for not measuring so just bought new inserts and wow
